Located in Taiyuan city, Shanxi province, JMC Heavy Duty Vehicle Co., Ltd. (JMCH) represents a crucial step for JMC to access heavy truck and therefore complete the line-up for commercial vehicles by offering heavy truck, pickup and light truck. Investments will be put in to build sophisticated vehicle and heavy truck engines and shape JMCH into a large JMC branded heavy truck maker with adequate competitiveness in domestic market.
Taking the leading efforts in introducing light duty trucks with world advanced technology into China in mid 1980s, JMC was one of China’s major light duty truck manufacturers. Issuing successfully A shares in Shenzhen Stock Exchange in November 1993, JMC became the first listed company in Jiangxi province, followed by B share issued through ADRs in 1995 to introduce foreign capital strategic partner, the first ever in China. We utilize 6sigma to improve product quality and save costs, thus winning the title of the National best 10 companies for 6sigma management, which is awarded by China Association for Quality.
