The moment of 14:28, May 12th, 2008 was doomed to be engraved pain in human history. The devastating 8.0-magnitude earthquake shocked not only houses and rocks but also 1.3 billion Chinese people’s hearts. Wenchuan was more than a placename, and it symbolized our compatriots’ fear at the moment of earthquake, yelling when mountains slid and earth fissured,

and lament for the death in the ruins. From that moment the disaster happened, we were worried and anxious, we shed tears for what our compatriots suffered. Wenchuang was in an emergency! Sichuan was in an emergency! China was in an emergency!

“Unite our strength to fight against earthquake and make relief efforts”, this inspiring slogan was raised by China government and the Party. The whole nation united all strength to fight against earthquake disaster immediately. The forefront was busy rescuing while the home front was offering assistance. Love and care gathered among the crowd in China, agglomerated into an artery of life with hot running blood and was going to soothe eyeful devastation. JMC people sympathized with the sufferings of our quake-stricken compatriots. Blood was thicker than water, when our compatriots struck, JMC was taking the following actions: donate fund and supplies, deliver supplies from far away, and do relief work in disaster area.

JMC presented Transit to Shaoshan Primary School, the native place of chairman Mao

On May 22,2007, JMC board chairman Wang Xigao sent the Transit key in person to the hand of Mao Xinyu, the grandson of Mao Zedong. The great respect and sincere heart to the great people were impressed in the beautiful memory of people through the precious scene.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Chinese People Liberation Army foundation and Qiushou uprising, the 80th anniversary of Jinggang Mountain revolution base foundation, JMC specially presented a Transit to Shaoshan Primary School, the native place of great people. When Dr. Mao Xinyu, the grandson of chairman Mao, the researcher of Chinese People Liberation Army Millitary Science College, and his delegate visited JMC, JMC held the Transit Presenting Ceremony.

JMC Transit helps the old soldiers of New Fourth Army to review their battle road

70 years ago, new fourth army, which was praised by Chairman Mao as “the Great Wall of People in Central area”, contributed a lot of monumental achievements in anti-Japan battlefields. Nowadays, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of New Fourth Army

establishment, JMC donated a Transit commercial vehicle to the New Fourth Army. With it, a number of old soldiers with outstanding meritorious service would visit and review the 14 guerrilla areas of that time to recall history and feel the great achievement of new China development and construction under the organization of Jiangxi Province New Fourth Army seminar.

On Feb. 11,2007, JMC donating Transit to New Fourth Army old soldiers ceremony were held in Nanchang. JMC board chairman Mr. Wang Xigao sent the transit key to old soldiers in person. The attendees in the ceremony included old Red Army with many battle experience and eminent battle achievement, the honorary chairman of the New Fourth Army seminar general Luo Weidao and a number of honorable New Fourth Army old soldiers representatives.--More
