Early in 1999, JMC passed ISO14001 Environment Management System Attestation. JMC introduced JPS a lean production system and regarded environment protection as one of 10 key factors of JPS. According to the requirement of ISO14001, JMC operated the system, made JMC environment plan, followed environment protection rules, constantly improved the employees’ environment awareness, saved energy, reduced energy consumption and waste emission, prevented pollution, made sustained improvement, and created and maintained good environment. Every year JMC checks and identifies environment factors, fixes the core environment factors, and sets up annual environment target index according to laws and rules as well as key environment factors. Through establishing strict environment file control process and environment operation instruction, JMC made urgent environment preparation and response process, and carried out urgent rehearsal for possible environment crisis and accidents. JMC has invested much on environment protection measures for recent 3 years.
